Furniture Made for the Space You Have

Not every room can fit standard furniture properly. You may find that a ready-made wardrobe is too small for one wall or leaves unused space around it. Storage can also become a problem when the inside layout does not match what you actually need. At Reckon Infra, we make custom wardrobes, custom shoe racks, TV units and storage furniture in Patna based on the size of your room. Before the furniture is designed, the room and the space available are checked properly. A wardrobe is planned around the things that will actually be kept inside it.

During the discussion, we look at the type and quantity of clothes, along with items such as shoes, bags, blankets and documents. This gives a clearer idea of how much hanging space, shelving and drawer space will be useful. The internal sections are then arranged around these requirements instead of using the same layout for every wardrobe. We first understand what needs to be stored and how the family prefers to arrange these things. Based on this, the inside of the wardrobe can be divided into suitable sections, where required, additional sections can also be planned for shoes, accessories, documents or other personal belongings, depending on how the wardrobe will be used.

Furniture Options

Wardrobe and Furniture Options

For bedrooms without much open floor space, sliding shutters usually come into the picture while we're planning the wardrobe. Since the doors run along the unit instead of swinging out into the room, the area right in front stays fully usable - which matters a lot when there's a bed or other furniture positioned close by. From there, the wardrobe gets divided into whatever shelves, drawers, and hanging sections the available space allows.

Bigger rooms open up different possibilities. A larger bedroom might work well with a walk-in wardrobe or a separate dressing area altogether, and depending on what the room and the family actually need, we can add a bigger wardrobe unit, a dedicated dressing space, or extra drawers.

Storage furniture isn't limited to the bedroom either. Take a TV unit - it gets designed around the wall and the television setup itself, with storage worked in and cable channels concealed so wires stay out of sight. Depending on the look you're going for, we can also add details like fluted backing. Some people lean toward open shelves; others want everything behind closed doors. Beyond that, we build custom shoe racks, crockery units, and display cabinets sized to whatever space is available, and the design can stay simple or bring in glass shutters and lighting if that's what you're after.

Material Quality

Materials and Finishes

Material choice comes down to the piece of furniture and where it's going. Wardrobes and other indoor furniture typically use suitable boards, HDMR boards, and BWR-grade plywood in spots where moisture resistance actually matters.

The outer finish gets picked to match the room too - scratch-resistant laminates, acrylic, or wood veneer, depending on the furniture type and the overall look you're going for. Nothing's locked into one fixed finish; the final call is made around what suits the rest of the room. Hardware follows the same logic - soft-close hinges, drawer channels, and sliding hardware get chosen based on the design, all aimed at making everyday use smoother.

Once installation wraps up, we go through and check every fitting to confirm doors and drawers are opening and closing properly, without rubbing or catching anywhere. That's non-negotiable - nothing should stick during regular use. And for extra storage, wardrobes can run all the way to the ceiling with a loft section on top, which tends to be handy for suitcases, extra bedding, and anything else that doesn't need to be within easy reach every day.

Methodology

The Process

We begin with a detailed site measurement and then prepare a 3D layout showing exactly how the wardrobe or furniture will look and how the inside will be arranged - drawers, shelves, hanging space and so on. This helps you understand the design before manufacturing begins. Once you're happy with the plan, the required pieces are manufactured and prepared for installation. Our installation team then fits everything on site and checks every door, drawer and fitting before we consider the work complete.

If your current storage just isn't working, our custom wardrobe and woodwork solutions also come with a 10-year written warranty on materials and hardware, giving you added confidence in the quality of the work and fittings.
